Herbicide Market Size in the U.S.

The U.S. herbicide market expanded notably to $X in 2021, with an increase of 11% against the previous year. In general, the total consumption indicated buoyant growth from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +5.4% over the last nine years. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, herbicide exports rose markedly to $X in 2021. In 2021, herbicide imports into the United States expanded significantly to X tons, increasing by 11% compared with the previous year's figure. Overall, total imports indicated a prominent expansion from 2012 to 2021: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +6.3% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, imports increased by +23.6% against 2019 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 with an increase of 54%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, herbicide imports expanded sharply to $X in 2021. In general, total imports indicated a perceptible increase from 2012 to 2021: its value increased at an average annual rate of +4.0% over the last nine years.
