Honduras (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a 12% share.

In value terms, Mexico ($X) remains the key foreign market for narrow woven fabrics exports from the United States, comprising 58% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Canada ($X), with an 11% share of total exports. It was followed by Honduras, with a 4.9% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Mexico totaled +1.9%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Canada (-1.0% per year) and Honduras (-9.5% per year).

In 2021, the average narrow woven fabric export price amounted to $X per ton, increasing by 4.1% against the previous year. The total import volume increased at an average annual rate of +3.2% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations being observed in certain years. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, narrow woven fabric imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. The total import value increased at an average annual rate of +1.1% over the period from 2012 to 2021; the trend pattern remained consistent, with only minor fluctuations being observed in certain years. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
China (X tons), Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons) and South Korea (X tons) were the main suppliers of narrow woven fabric imports to the United States, together accounting for 64% of total imports. Vietnam, Canada, India and Mexico lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 24%.
