For the eighth year in a row, the U.S. vulcanised rubber seal market recorded growth in sales value, which increased by 10% to $X in 2022. In general, consumption recorded strong growth. Vulcanised rubber seal consumption peaked in 2022 and is likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

In value terms, vulcanised rubber seal production expanded slightly to $X in 2022. Overall, production, however, recorded buoyant growth. In value terms, vulcanised rubber seal exports surged to $X in 2022. The total export value increased at an average annual rate of +2.1% from 2012 to 2022; however, the trend pattern remained relatively stable, with somewhat noticeable fluctuations in certain years. As a result, the exports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Exports by Country

Mexico (X tons) was the main destination for vulcanised rubber seal exports from the United States, accounting for a 67% share of total exports. Moreover, vulcanised rubber seal exports to Mexico exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, China (X tons), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by Canada (X tons), with a 2.8% share.
