Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, vegetable puree imports reduced modestly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a pronounced descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 36%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Poland (X tons) constituted the largest vegetable puree supplier to the United States, with a 41% share of total imports. Moreover, vegetable puree imports from Poland exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Canada (X tons), twofold. France (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with an 11% share.
