In value terms, special vehicle body imports declined significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, recorded a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by X%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then contracted sharply in the following year.

Imports by Country

In 2022, the United Arab Emirates (X units) constituted the largest special vehicle body supplier to Uganda, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, special vehicle body imports from the United Arab Emirates exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Kenya (X units), sixfold. Japan (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.
