Kenya (X tons), Rwanda (X tons) and Burundi (X kg) were the main destinations of cyclic hydrocarbons exports from Uganda.

Imports into Uganda
In 2022, the amount of cyclic hydrocarbons imported into Uganda soared to X tons, picking up by X% on the previous year. In general, imports enjoyed a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of X%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, cyclic hydrocarbons imports soared to $X in 2022. Overall, imports saw a significant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

India (X tons), South Korea (X tons) and Singapore (X tons) were the main suppliers of cyclic hydrocarbons imports to Uganda, together comprising X% of total imports. Thailand, Portugal, Taiwan (Chinese), Israel, the United Arab Emirates, Spain and Kenya lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further X%.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Israel (with a CAGR of X%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
