In general, imports recorded a strong increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2015 when imports increased by 384% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X tons. From 2016 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, titanium ore and concentrate imports declined significantly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports, however, saw a abrupt contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of 188% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $X. From 2015 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.

India (X tons), Kenya (X tons) and China (X tons) were the main suppliers of titanium ore and concentrate imports to Uganda.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for India (with a CAGR of +18.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, Kenya ($X) constituted the largest supplier of titanium ores and concentrates to Uganda, comprising 58% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by India ($X), with a 27% share of total imports.
