In value terms, Hungary ($X) remains the key foreign market for acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene (abs) copolymers in primary forms exports from Ukraine, comprising 75% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Belarus ($X), with a 5.8% share of total exports. It was followed by Moldova, with a 4.7% share.

Over the period under review, imports recorded a buoyant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 with an increase of 38% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, ABS copolymers imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports saw a resilient expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

South Korea (X tons), Austria (X tons) and the Netherlands (X tons) were the main suppliers of ABS copolymers imports to Ukraine, together accounting for 64% of total imports.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, the country with the highest price was Germany ($X per ton), while the price for Austria ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
