Over the period under review, the exports attained the peak figure at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, concentrated grapefruit juice imports reached $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, continue to indicate a abrupt curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 25%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

The Netherlands (X tons), Israel (X tons) and the United States (X tons) were the main suppliers of concentrated grapefruit juice imports to Ukraine, with a combined 94% share of total imports. Cuba and Austria lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 4.4%.

From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were in Cuba (with a CAGR of -1.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced a decline.

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2021 figures, concentrated grapefruit juice import price decreased by -28.6% against 2018 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the average import price increased by 59% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per ton. From 2019 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per ton), while the price for Israel ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
