Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, truck crane imports soared to $X in 2021. Overall, imports recorded a strong increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 303% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Belarus (X units), Germany (X units) and China (X units) were the main suppliers of truck crane imports to Ukraine, with a combined 6.7% share of total imports. In 2021, the average truck crane import price amounted to $X per unit, shrinking by -6.5% against the previous year. In general, the import price saw a pronounced shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 an increase of 62%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $X per unit in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Lithuania ($X per unit), while the price for Belgium ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
