In 2022, after two years of growth, there was decline in the Ukrainian heat exchange unit market, when its value decreased by -0.4% to $X. In general, consumption, however, recorded a pronounced reduction. In 2022, the amount of heat exchange units exported from Ukraine declined notably to X units, falling by -47.6% against 2021. Over the period under review, exports recorded a precipitous descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 62%. Over the period under review, the exports reached the maximum at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, heat exchange unit exports dropped markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, exports recorded a abrupt decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 46%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Poland (X units), Turkey (X units) and Germany (X units) were the main destinations of heat exchange unit exports from Ukraine, together comprising 38% of total exports. Belarus, Lithuania, Italy, Iraq, Russia, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Estonia, the UK and Kazakhstan lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 51%.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 with an increase of 184%. Imports peaked at X units in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Over the period from 2012 to 2022, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2013 an increase of 20% against the previous year. The import price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($X per unit), while the price for Turkey ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
