The exports peaked at X units in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, dental instruments exports surged to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, exports, however, saw a noticeable contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when exports increased by 849%. The exports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, the exports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Russia (X units) was the main destination for dental instruments exports from Ukraine, with a 34% share of total exports. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the near future.

In value terms, dental instruments imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate a resilient increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 58% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a modest increase from 2012 to 2021: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.2% over the last nine-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
