The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 112% against the previous year. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In 2021, China (X units) constituted the largest electroplating machine supplier to Ukraine, with a 63% share of total imports. Moreover, electroplating machine imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Italy (X units), sixfold. Estonia, with a CAGR of +197.7%, saw the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, in terms of the main suppliers over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average electroplating machine import price stood at $X per unit in 2021, waning by -31.1% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw slight growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the average import price increased by 175%. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $X per unit. From 2019 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably country of origin: the country with the highest price was Austria ($X per unit), while the price for Turkey ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.
