Germany (X units), Lithuania (X units) and Spain (X units) were the main destinations of men knitwear exports from Ukraine, together accounting for 64% of total exports. Poland, France, Slovakia, Denmark, the United States, Turkey, Moldova, Italy and Latvia lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 31%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for France (with a CAGR of +145.6%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Men knitwear imports into Ukraine skyrocketed to X units in 2022, increasing by 17% against 2021 figures. In general, imports enjoyed prominent growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 74% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, men knitwear imports contracted to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 40%. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2021, and then declined in the following year.

Uzbekistan (X units), Turkey (X units) and China (X units) were the main suppliers of men knitwear imports to Ukraine, with a combined 79% share of total imports.
