From 2013 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume to Belarus amounted to +233.0%.

In value terms, Belarus ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for polyacetals in primary forms exports from Ukraine, comprising 94% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Israel ($X), with a 5.2% share of total exports.

From 2013 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Belarus stood at +134.3%.

The average polyacetals export price stood at $X per ton in 2021, growing by 95% against the previous year. Overall, the export price posted a remarkable increase. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $X per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2021, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Israel stood at $X per ton.

In 2021, polyacetals imports into Ukraine soared to X tons, rising by 18% on 2020. Over the period under review, imports recorded a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 38%. Over the period under review, imports reached the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

In value terms, polyacetals imports soared to $X in 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 52% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Taiwan (Chinese) (X tons), South Korea (X tons) and Germany (X tons) were the main suppliers of polyacetals imports to Ukraine, with a combined 54% share of total imports. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, import prices remained at a lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2021, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Bulgaria ($X per ton), while the price for Belgium ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Taiwan (Chinese) (+12.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
