In value terms, poultry exports surged to $X in 2022. Overall, exports, however, saw a prominent increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 with an increase of X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.
Exports by Country
The Netherlands (X tons), Saudi Arabia (X tons) and Slovakia (X tons) were the main destinations of poultry exports from Ukraine, with a combined X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Slovakia (with a CAGR of X%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, approx. X tons of poultry were imported into Ukraine; waning by X% against 2021. Overall, imports recorded a noticeable contraction. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by X% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, poultry imports contracted dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports showed a deep contraction. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by X%. Imports peaked at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Poland (X tons) constituted the largest poultry supplier to Ukraine, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, poultry imports from Poland exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Hungary (X tons), fivefold. The UK (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.

Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the highest price was recorded for prices from Germany ($X per ton) and the Netherlands ($X per ton), while the price for the UK ($X per ton) and Hungary ($X per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (X%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.
