The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when exports increased by 9.2%. The exports peaked at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, exports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings dropped dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports showed a deep slump. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 with an increase of 22%. Over the period under review, the exports of hit record highs at $X in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Romania (X square meters), Kazakhstan (X square meters) and Canada (X square meters) were the main destinations of exports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings from Ukraine, together comprising 50% of total exports.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Canada (with a CAGR of +39.8%), while shipments for the other leaders experienced mixed trend patterns.

In value terms, Romania ($X), Kazakhstan ($X) and Canada ($X) were the largest markets for PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings exported from Ukraine worldwide, with a combined 50% share of total exports.

Over the period under review, export price indicated a measured increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. In 2022, purchases abroad of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings decreased by -53.1% to X square meters for the first time since 2015, thus ending a six-year rising trend. In general, imports saw a deep reduction. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 32% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X square meters in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, imports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings dropped markedly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports showed a abrupt decline. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 32%. Imports peaked at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Serbia (X square meters), China (X square meters) and Belgium (X square meters) were the main suppliers of imports of PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings to Ukraine, with a combined 79% share of total imports. Russia, Turkey, Poland and Hungary lagged somewhat behind, together accounting for a further 15%.

From 2012 to 2022, the biggest increases were recorded for Poland (with a CAGR of +14.1%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the period under review, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The import price peaked at $X per square meter in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Hungary ($X per square meter), while the price for China ($X per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
