Japan (X tons) was the main destination for unwrought aluminium alloys exports from Ukraine, accounting for a X% share of total exports. For the sixth consecutive year, Ukraine recorded growth in purchases abroad of unwrought aluminium alloys, which increased by X% to X tons in 2020. In general, imports recorded prominent growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2011 when imports increased by X% y-o-y. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2020 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

In value terms, unwrought aluminium alloys imports rose rapidly to $X in 2020. Overall, imports continue to indicate a strong expansion. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2011 with an increase of X% year-to-year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2020, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

Russia (X tons), Poland (X tons) and Switzerland (X tons) were the main suppliers of unwrought aluminium alloys imports to Ukraine, with a combined X% share of total imports.
