The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 248% against the previous year. As a result, the exports attained the peak of $X. From 2018 to 2021, the growth of the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
Saudi Arabia (X tons), Oman (X tons) and Tanzania (X tons) were the main destinations of electrical fuse exports from the United Arab Emirates, together accounting for 77% of total exports. These countries were followed by Iraq, Sudan, Ghana, Bahrain, Kuwait and Nigeria, which together accounted for a further 30%.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the main countries of destination, was attained by Bahrain (with a CAGR of +112.5%), while the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, Saudi Arabia ($X) emerged as the key foreign market for electrical fuses exports from the United Arab Emirates, comprising 77% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Iraq ($X), with a 25% share of total exports. It was followed by Oman, with a 16% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Saudi Arabia amounted to +83.6%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Iraq (0.0% per year) and Oman (-12.2% per year).

In 2021, the average electrical fuse export price amounted to $X per ton, jumping by 24% against the previous year. Over the period from 2012 to 2021, it increased at an average annual rate of +3.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2014 an increase of 38%. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2015 to 2021, the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Kuwait ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Tanzania ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Nigeria (+16.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Imports into the United Arab Emirates
After three years of decline, supplies from abroad of electrical fuses increased by 63% to X tons in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, saw a deep reduction. Imports peaked at X tons in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, electrical fuse imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, recorded a perceptible reduction. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
Japan (X tons), India (X tons) and China (X tons) were the main suppliers of electrical fuse imports to the United Arab Emirates, together accounting for 73% of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Japan (with a CAGR of +21.7%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
In value terms, the largest electrical fuse suppliers to the United Arab Emirates were India ($X), the United States ($X) and France ($X), together accounting for 28% of total imports. These countries were followed by China, Japan, Germany, the UK, Slovenia, Italy and Thailand, which together accounted for a further 28%.
In terms of the main suppliers, Japan, with a CAGR of +22.5%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of imports, over the period under review, while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when the average import price increased by 19% against the previous year. As a result, import price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2019 to 2021, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($X per ton), while the price for Japan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
