Oman (X tons) was the main destination for graphite non-electrical articles exports from the United Arab Emirates, with a 70% share of total exports. Overall, imports continue to indicate a noticeable shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 44% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.

In value terms, graphite non-electrical articles imports declined sharply to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports recorded a abrupt setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 when imports increased by 60%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
