Moreover, quince exports to Kuwait exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Yemen (X kg), fivefold. The third position in this ranking was held by Bahrain (X kg), with a 10% share.

In 2021, Turkey (X tons) constituted the largest quince supplier to the United Arab Emirates, accounting for a 89% share of total imports. Moreover, quince imports from Turkey exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Lebanon (X tons), more than tenfold. South Africa (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 2.9% share.
