The growth pace was the most rapid in 2013 when exports increased by 145% against the previous year. The exports peaked at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

Bahrain (X tons) was the main destination for welded and cold-formed steel sections exports from the United Arab Emirates, accounting for a 59% share of total exports. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons. From 2018 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a lower figure.
