From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Hong Kong SAR stood at +15.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: India (-2.8% per year) and Burundi (+7.6% per year).

Wine of fresh grapes imports into the United Arab Emirates contracted to X litres in 2022, waning by -6.6% on 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, recorded a perceptible expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 41% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of X litres. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of imports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, wine of fresh grapes imports surged to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when imports increased by 54% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

France (X litres), South Africa (X litres) and Australia (X litres) were the main suppliers of wine of fresh grapes imports to the United Arab Emirates, with a combined 41% share of total imports.
