The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 52%. As a result, imports attained the peak of $X, and then declined sharply in the following year.

In 2022, China (X square meters) constituted the largest non-PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings supplier to the UK, with a 74% share of total imports. Moreover, imports of non-PVC floor, wall and ceiling coverings from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Vietnam (X square meters), more than tenfold. Ireland (X square meters) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 5.4% share.

In general, the import price, however, saw a noticeable decline. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 22%. The import price peaked at $X per square meter in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per square meter), while the price for Ireland ($X per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
