The Netherlands (X tons), the United States (X tons) and the Czech Republic (X tons) were the main destinations of optical fiber and bundle exports from the UK, with a combined 54% share of total exports. Germany, China, Ukraine, Canada, Ireland, the United Arab Emirates, Italy, France, Spain and Colombia lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 34%.

Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at X tons in 2021, and then shrank slightly in the following year.

In 2022, India (X tons) constituted the largest optical fiber and bundle supplier to the UK, with a 73% share of total imports. Moreover, optical fiber and bundle imports from India exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Japan (X tons), more than tenfold. The third position in this ranking was held by the Netherlands (X tons), with a 4.9% share.
