In value terms, polypropylene in primary forms imports rose modestly to $X in 2022. Overall, imports recorded a noticeable descent. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2017 when imports increased by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, Germany (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of polypropylene in primary forms to the UK, accounting for a 24% share of total imports.
