Aircraft Tyre Market Size in the UK

In 2021, the UK aircraft tyre market increased by 3.7% to $X, rising for the fourth year in a row after three years of decline. In general, consumption showed a modest expansion. Over the period under review, the market reached the peak level at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, consumption failed to regain momentum.

In 2021, the average aircraft tyre export price amounted to $X per unit, surging by 2.1% against the previous year. Over the last nine years, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.6%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 13% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure in 2021 and is expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($X per unit), while the average price for exports to Italy ($X per unit) was amongst the lowest.

Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2021, imports remained at a lower figure.
