The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 5,048% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

Mexico (X tons) was the main destination for horse, mule and donkey meat exports from the United States, accounting for a 95% share of total exports. It was followed by Venezuela (X tons), with a 2.2% share of total exports.
