The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when imports increased by 35%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

China (X units), Brazil (X units) and Argentina (X units) were the main suppliers of plastic lavatory seat imports to Uruguay, with a combined 95% share of total imports.
