In value terms, fluid milk imports rose to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports, however, continue to indicate a resilient increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 42%. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in years to come.

Canada (X tons), France (X tons) and Mexico (X tons) were the main suppliers of fluid milk imports to the United States, with a combined 64% share of total imports. South Korea, India, Colombia, Italy, Denmark and Germany lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 24%.
