Mexico (X tons) was the main destination for semi-chemical wood pulp exports from the United States, with a 85% share of total exports. The third position in this ranking was taken by Canada (X tons), with a 2.5% share.

Overall, imports, however, showed a drastic downturn. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X tons in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
