Imports into Uzbekistan

For the sixth consecutive year, Uzbekistan recorded growth in overseas purchases of computing machinery and parts and accessories thereof, which increased by 11% to X tons in 2021. In general, imports enjoyed a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 when imports increased by 1,111% against the previous year. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to see gradual growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, computing machinery imports soared to $X in 2021. Over the period under review, imports recorded a significant increase. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 when imports increased by 3,347%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.

China (X tons), the Netherlands (X tons) and Lithuania (X tons) were the main suppliers of computing machinery imports to Uzbekistan, together comprising 33% of total imports.
