Fireclay Market Size in Uzbekistan

In 2021, the Uzbek fireclay market increased by 4.6% to $X for the first time since 2018, thus ending a two-year declining trend. Overall, consumption, however, enjoyed a prominent increase. Over the period under review, imports posted a significant expansion. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

In value terms, fireclay imports declined modestly to $X in 2021. In general, imports saw strong growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 with an increase of 131% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.
