As a result, imports attained the peak of X units, and then dropped in the following year.

In value terms, lifting equipment imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. Overall, imports, however, showed significant growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 when imports increased by 1,193%. Imports peaked in 2021 and are likely to continue growth in years to come.

Imports by Country

China (X units), Spain (X units) and the UK (X units) were the main suppliers of lifting equipment imports to Uzbekistan, with a combined 89% share of total imports. These countries were followed by Russia, Poland, Italy, Turkey and Germany, which together accounted for a further 11%.

From 2017 to 2021, the biggest increases were recorded for Russia (with a CAGR of +39.2%), while purchases for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.
