Russia (X tons), Kazakhstan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons) were the main destinations of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified exports from Uzbekistan, with a combined 94% share of total exports. These countries were followed by Tajikistan, which accounted for a further 3.3%.

In 2022, supplies from abroad of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified decreased by -48.8% to X tons, falling for the third year in a row after three years of growth. Overall, imports, however, saw a significant increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2018 with an increase of 2,530% against the previous year. Imports peaked at X tons in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.
In value terms, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports reduced markedly to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2018 when imports increased by 5,902%. Imports peaked at $X in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.
Imports by Country
In 2022, China (X tons) constituted the largest non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified supplier to Uzbekistan, with a 46% share of total imports. Moreover, non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Colombia (X tons), twofold. Vietnam (X kg) ranked third in terms of total imports with a 9.6% share.
From 2017 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of volume from China was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Colombia (0.0% per year) and Vietnam (0.0% per year).
In value terms, Colombia ($X) constituted the largest supplier of non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified to Uzbekistan, comprising 32% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Russia ($X), with a 15% share of total imports. It was followed by Ecuador, with a 15% share.
From 2017 to 2022, the average annual growth rate of value from Colombia was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Russia (0.0% per year) and Ecuador (0.0% per year).
Import Prices by Country
The average import price for non-citrus fruits not elsewhere classified stood at $X per ton in 2022, with a decrease of -43.4% against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, recorded a significant increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 204% against the previous year.
