From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value to Afghanistan amounted to +403.5%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Turkey (+204.7% per year) and Kyrgyzstan (+69.1% per year).

Over the period under review, the export price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average export price increased by 44%. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $X per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Russia ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to Turkmenistan ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+54.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Imports into Uzbekistan
In 2022, the amount of packaging materials imported into Uzbekistan expanded notably to X tons, increasing by 6.6% compared with the previous year. Overall, imports posted a significant expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 18,781% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports reached the maximum in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the immediate term.
