Russia (X tons), Kazakhstan (X tons) and Kyrgyzstan (X tons) were the main destinations of peach and nectarine exports from Uzbekistan, with a combined 98% share of total exports.

In 2021, after two years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas purchases of peaches and nectarines, when their volume decreased by -21.1% to X tons. Over the period under review, imports, however, showed resilient growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when imports increased by 183% against the previous year. As a result, imports attained the peak of X tons, and then contracted remarkably in the following year.
In value terms, peach and nectarine imports contracted to $X in 2021. In general, imports, however, posted prominent growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 with an increase of 244% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2020, and then dropped in the following year.
Imports by Country
In 2021, China (X tons) was the main supplier of peach and nectarine to Uzbekistan, with a 100% share of total imports. It was followed by Russia (X kg), with a 0.2% share of total imports.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of volume from China amounted to +49.6%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Russia (-40.0% per year) and Kazakhstan (-36.1% per year).
