In 2021, approx. X tons of folding boxboard were exported from Venezuela; jumping by 155% on the previous year. Over the period under review, exports, however, recorded a abrupt shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2017 with an increase of 76% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2021, imports failed to regain momentum.

Brazil (X tons), South Korea (X tons) and Poland (X tons) were the main suppliers of folding boxboard imports to Venezuela, with a combined 43% share of total imports.
