As a result, the exports attained the peak of X tons. From 2020 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a lower figure.
In value terms, oil crops exports reduced markedly to $X in 2022. In general, exports continue to indicate a prominent expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when exports increased by X%. Over the period under review, the exports hit record highs at $X in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.
Exports by Country
China (X tons) was the main destination for oil crops exports from Vietnam, with a X% share of total exports. Moreover, oil crops exports to China exceeded the volume sent to the second major destination, Thailand (X tons), sixfold. Spain (X tons) ranked third in terms of total exports with a X% share.
From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume to China amounted to X%. Exports to the other major destinations recorded the following average annual rates of exports growth: Thailand (X% per year) and Spain (X% per year).
In value terms, China ($X) remains the key foreign market for oil crops (primary) exports from Vietnam, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was taken by Thailand ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Spain, with a X% share.

In value terms, oil crops imports dropped to $X in 2022. Overall, total imports indicated a mild expansion from 2012 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of X% over the last decade.
