Bromides, iodides and oxids thereof imports into Vietnam skyrocketed to X tons in 2021, surging by 62% against the previous year's figure. Overall, imports enjoyed moderate growth. Imports peaked at X tons in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2021, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.

In value terms, bromides, iodides and oxids thereof imports soared to $X in 2021. In general, imports continue to indicate buoyant growth. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2015; afterwards, it flattened through to 2021.

In 2021, the United States (X tons) constituted the largest supplier of bromides, iodides and oxids thereof to Vietnam, with a 89% share of total imports. The second position in the ranking was held by India ($X), with a 23% share of total imports. It was followed by China, with a 6.3% share.
