Cereal Market Size in Vietnam
In 2022, after two years of growth, there was decline in the Vietnamese cereal market, when its value decreased by X% to $X. Over the period under review, consumption continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The Philippines (X tons) and Cambodia (X tons) were the main destinations of cereal exports from Vietnam.

Imports into Vietnam
In 2022, cereal imports into Vietnam reached X tons, remaining stable against 2021 figures. Over the period under review, imports continue to indicate buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 with an increase of X%. Imports peaked at X tons in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, imports stood at a somewhat lower figure.
In value terms, cereal imports shrank to $X in 2022. In general, imports posted a buoyant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2014 when imports increased by X%. Imports peaked at $X in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.
Imports by Country
In 2022, Argentina (X tons) constituted the largest cereal supplier to Vietnam, with a X% share of total imports. Moreover, cereal imports from Argentina exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Australia (X tons), threefold. Brazil (X tons) ranked third in terms of total imports with a X% share.
