The Vietnamese pliers and pincers market was finally on the rise to reach $X in 2021, after six years of decline. Over the period under review, consumption, however, saw a pronounced downturn. As a result, the export price attained the peak level and is likely to continue growth in the immediate term.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($X per ton), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.

Over the period under review, imports posted a prominent increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when imports increased by 258%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure in 2021 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.

In value terms, pliers and pincers imports skyrocketed to $X in 2021. In general, imports posted measured growth. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2019 with an increase of 160%.
