The exports peaked at X litres in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, vermouth exports fell notably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports recorded a abrupt setback. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2013 with an increase of 44% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, the exports remained at a lower figure.

Thailand (X litres), Singapore (X litres) and Cambodia (X litres) were the main destinations of vermouth exports from Vietnam, with a combined 98% share of total exports. France lagged somewhat behind, comprising a further 2.3%.

The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 378%. Over the period under review, imports attained the maximum at X litres in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports failed to regain momentum.

In value terms, vermouth imports rose to $X in 2022. In general, imports, however, showed a sharp descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2016 when imports increased by 249% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at $X in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, imports remained at a lower figure.

Italy (X litres), Ireland (X litres) and Singapore (X litres) were the main suppliers of vermouth imports to Vietnam, with a combined 58% share of total imports.
