Bracelet Market Size in Vietnam

In 2022, the Vietnamese bracelet market increased by 9.7% to $X, rising for the third consecutive year after three years of decline. Over the period under review, consumption, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, the market attained the peak level at $X in 2016; however, from 2017 to 2022, consumption remained at a lower figure.

In 2022, approx. X units of watch straps, bands and bracelets were exported from Vietnam; declining by -34.8% compared with 2021 figures. Overall, exports, however, recorded a significant expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2016 with an increase of 110%. Over the period under review, the exports attained the maximum at X units in 2021, and then plummeted in the following year.

In value terms, bracelet exports contracted dramatically to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, exports, however, posted a pronounced expansion. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 when exports increased by 131% against the previous year. Over the period under review, imports hit record highs at X units in 2021, and then reduced dramatically in the following year.

In value terms, bracelet imports declined remarkably to $X in 2022. Over the period under review, imports, however, posted a significant increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2015 with an increase of 328%. Over the period under review, imports attained the peak figure at $X in 2021, and then fell dramatically in the following year.

In 2022, China (X units) constituted the largest supplier of bracelet to Vietnam, accounting for a 68% share of total imports. Moreover, bracelet imports from China exceeded the figures recorded by the second-largest supplier, Singapore (X units), fourfold. South Korea (X units) ranked third in terms of total imports with an 11% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of volume from China was relatively modest. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: Singapore (+72.5% per year) and South Korea (+129.4% per year).

In value terms, Singapore ($X) constituted the largest supplier of watch straps, bands and bracelets to Vietnam, comprising 68% of total imports. The second position in the ranking was taken by China ($X), with a 22% share of total imports. It was followed by South Korea, with a 6.8% share.

From 2012 to 2022, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value from Singapore amounted to +77.1%. The remaining supplying countries recorded the following average annual rates of imports growth: China (+17.0% per year) and South Korea (+129.4% per year).

In 2022, the average bracelet import price amounted to $X per unit, growing by 9.4% against the previous year. In general, the import price recorded strong growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 368%. The import price peaked at $X per unit in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
