At the same time, Cote d'Ivoire (+14.8%), Liberia (+11.2%), Senegal (+7.7%), Nigeria (+7.3%) and Burkina Faso (+1.8%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Cote d'Ivoire emerged as the fastest-growing importer imported in Western Africa, with a CAGR of +14.8% from 2012-2022. Togo experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. By contrast, Mali (-6.2%), Guinea (-7.8%) and Mauritania (-9.3%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. From 2012 to 2022, the share of Ghana, Cote d'Ivoire, Nigeria, Liberia and Senegal increased by +11, +8.2, +6, +3.9 and +3.3 percentage points, respectively. The shares of the other countries remained relatively stable throughout the analyzed period.
