Mali, with a CAGR of +36.5%, recorded the highest rates of growth with regard to the value of exports, among the main exporting countries over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the export price in Western Africa amounted to $X per ton, with a decrease of -21.1% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt curtailment. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 137% against the previous year. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $X per ton. From 2016 to 2022, the export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Import Prices by Country

In 2022, the import price in Western Africa amounted to $X per ton, rising by 24% against the previous year. Import price indicated buoyant growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +9.2% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period.
