Exports from Nigeria increased at an average annual rate of +39.7% from 2012 to 2022. At the same time, Niger (+877.8%) and Cote d'Ivoire (+17.1%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Niger emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Western Africa, with a CAGR of +877.8% from 2012-2022. By contrast, Togo (-20.5%) illustrated a downward trend over the same period. While the share of Nigeria (+81 p.p.), Cote d'Ivoire (+3.6 p.p.) and Niger (+2.6 p.p.) increased significantly in terms of the total exports from 2012-2022, the share of Togo (-11.9 p.p.) displayed negative dynamics.

In value terms, Nigeria ($X) remains the largest cream fresh supplier in Western Africa, comprising 69% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Togo ($X), with a 12% share of total exports. It was followed by Cote d'Ivoire, with a 12% share.

In Nigeria, cream fresh exports increased at an average annual rate of +34.5% over the period from 2012-2022. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Togo (-26.5% per year) and Cote d'Ivoire (+28.3% per year).
