The West African dental fitting market reduced to $X in 2022, which is down by -6.4% against the previous year. Over the period under review, consumption, however, continues to indicate resilient growth. From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of shipments, amongst the key exporting countries, was attained by Mauritania (with a CAGR of +13.3%), while the other leaders experienced mixed trends in the exports figures.

In value terms, Nigeria ($X) remains the largest dental fitting supplier in Western Africa, comprising 87% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Togo ($X), with a 3.2% share of total exports.
