Exports by Country
Cote d'Ivoire was the main exporter of frozen fruits in Western Africa, with the volume of exports recording X tons, which was near X% of total exports in 2021. It was distantly followed by Mauritania (X tons) and Burkina Faso (X tons), together achieving a X% share of total exports. The following exporters - Guinea (X tons), Ghana (X tons) and Togo (X tons) - each reached a X% share of total exports.
From 2012 to 2021, average annual rates of growth with regard to frozen fruit exports from Cote d'Ivoire stood at -X%. At the same time, Togo (+X%) and Mauritania (+X%) displayed positive paces of growth. Moreover, Togo emerged as the fastest-growing exporter exported in Western Africa, with a CAGR of +X% from 2012-2021. Burkina Faso experienced a relatively flat trend pattern. In value terms, Cote d'Ivoire ($X) remains the largest frozen fruit supplier in Western Africa, comprising X% of total exports. The second position in the ranking was held by Togo ($X), with a X% share of total exports. It was followed by Mauritania, with a X% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual rate of growth in terms of value in Cote d'Ivoire amounted to +X%. In the other countries, the average annual rates were as follows: Togo (+X% per year) and Mauritania (+X% per year).

In 2021, the export price in Western Africa amounted to $X per ton, rising by X% against the previous year. In general, the export price recorded buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2018 when the import price increased by X%. The level of import peaked at $X per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2021, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably country of destination: the country with the highest price was Liberia ($X per ton), while Nigeria ($X per ton) was amongst the lowest.
