In value terms, Togo ($X), Nigeria ($X) and Ghana ($X) were the countries with the highest levels of exports in 2022, with a combined 57% share of total exports. Cote d'Ivoire, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Cabo Verde and Niger lagged somewhat behind, together comprising a further 31%.

Among the main exporting countries, Niger, with a CAGR of +47.2%, saw the highest growth rate of the value of exports, over the period under review, while shipments for the other leaders experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the export price in Western Africa amounted to $X per ton, with a decrease of -10.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 an increase of 19%.
